Donna Robinson

Donna Robinson has been a research staff geologist at the Kentucky Geological Survey for over 4 years, where she specializes in geospatial analysis, radon geology, and geological modeling. Donna graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with bachelor’s degrees in Geology and Geographic Information Science (GIS) and is currently a University of Kentucky PhD student studying geologic pathways for radon in Kentucky. Through her NIEHS-funded research, Donna seeks to isolate the main physical variables that lead to spikes in soil radon and indoor exposure in an endeavor to spread public, policy, and scientific awareness of radon as a cancer-causing geologic hazard. Donna also wishes to use her knowledge of the geosciences and earth’s climate systems to better inform and guide the public’s understanding of the geosciences and how they affect all of us
